Radio host Rush Limbaugh tore Wednesday Senator Mazie Hirono of Hawaii after dealing with Attorney General William Barr at a hearing of the Senate Judiciary Committee on the Mueller Report, the appellant "ignorant" and "lying".

Limbaugh said that Hirono misinterpreted Barr's work and – like Senator Lindsey Graham – accused the senator of "defaming" his integrity. "He did not change anything in Mueller's report," Limbaugh said on his radio show.

Barr's testimony Wednesday was very varied. This covered his decision not to pursue a case of obstruction of President Trump and the delay in publishing the redacted version of the report.

Hirono accused Barr of lying to Congress and said he should resign.

"Mr. Barr, the Americans now know that you are no different from Rudy Giuliani or Kellyanne Conway nor any other person who sacrifices his once-fitting reputation for the grifter and liar who sits at the Oval Office," Hirono told Barr during a long preparation for a question.

The chair of the committee, Senator Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., Cut Hirono. "You have slandered this man from the bottom up," said Graham to the Hawaiian senator.

Limbaugh claimed that Hirono had never intended to ask Barr serious questions, but to undermine his "integrity".

"It was the killing session. During these hearings, his mission was to kill Barr professionally and preserve his integrity, "said Limbaugh.

The host accused Hirono's "poisoned hatred" of President Trump for treating Barr.

"I think it's his toxic hate and essential consumer for Donald Trump, and Barr is the means by which she can get to Trump today, so Barr becomes his target," Limbaugh said.
