Boylan, now Democratic candidate for president of the Manhattan borough, also slammed State Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie, accusing him of carrying out a “sham investigation” into the series of allegations. against Cuomo, his longtime ally.

In Midtown, meanwhile, about 40 “queer” people gathered outside the governor’s office on Third Avenue to show their support, carrying homemade signs that read “Cancel Karen Culture Not Cuomo” and “Do Not Resign.”

“He’s an emotional guy, he’s Italian,” said Karen Gregorski, 73, of Manhattan, dismissing the harassment and abuse allegations that were made by Boylan and seven other women.

“Did he kiss someone or did he touch someone’s cheek?” Come on, said Gregorski. “If he touched my cheeks, I would give him a kiss.”
