He concluded his letter by asking Mueller to "testify to any misinformation of the Attorney General on the content of this phone call".

On Wednesday, during the hearing, Mr. Barr called Mueller's letter "a bit spicy" and suggested that it be written by one of his associates. Thursday, Barr was scheduled to appear before the Judiciary Committee of the House, but announced the day before the hearing that he would not be present.
A source told Fox News on Friday that Democrats on the House's Judiciary Committee are currently negotiating with Mueller to testify before their panel.
