With the preseason debut game on the books and game two against the Pittsburgh Steelers looming for the Detroit Lions, we’re breaking down the best and the least on the latest Pride Of Detroit PODcast, picking up our conversation the last week where we previewed the pre-season game.
Surprisingly (and perhaps depressingly depending on who you ask), we have a quarterback battle on our hands. At the same time, there’s plenty to do in the wide receiver room after the first week of preseason, and the kool-aid is pouring in for one rookie receiver in particular.
We also discuss running backs, the depth of the offensive line and the fact that part of the defense was not tested at all on Friday.
