Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin hope for romance between daughter Amelia and Scott Disick ‘just a phase’

Amelia Hamlin and Scott Disick were seen giving an affectionate demonstration at the beach on Monday.

But not everyone thinks the potential new couple will go the distance, with the 19-year-old model’s parents Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin saying the budding romance is “ just a phase ” according to E! News sources.

The reality TV star and her actor husband would have preferred Amelia’s ex-daughter Mercer Wiederhorn to Disick, 37, a source said.

“Harry and Lisa were sad to see Amelia and Mercer go their separate ways because they loved Mercer,” a source shared with E!

“He was like family, but they get it.

The alleged couple also headed for an intimate dinner in Malibu on Monday evening.

At the beach earlier today, they seemed to confirm their romance as the father-of-three walked with his arm around Hamlin’s shoulders.

The actress looked amazing in a floral print bikini and seemed perfectly happy with the reality TV star’s embrace.

Their romantic beach outing on Monday came less than 24 hours after the lovebirds enjoyed dinner at Tre Lune in Montecito, Calif.

Taking to her Instagram story, Amelia captured many snapshots of the dishes she and Scott enjoyed, including her decadent dessert of choice.

“ My love, ” Hamlin captioned, which happened to be the same caption Scott used on a post he uploaded to his own Instagram story of his food.

The couple also took to Italian chic on November 9, which they made sure to timidly document on Instagram.

The dinner date was the second time in a week, after attending Kendall Jenner’s Halloween-themed birthday party on October 31.

They were seen arriving together at the celebrity packed party held at Harriet’s Rooftop at 1 Hotel in West Hollywood, California.

Disick was dressed as Jim Carrey’s comedic character Ace Ventura, while Hamlin opted for a pink bob wig, candy bra and short shorts with tall boots.

The date of the party came just two months after Disick split from Sofia Richie after three years of dating.

While Richie was 15 years younger than Disick, there is an 18-year age difference between Disick and Hamlin.

In the two months since his split from Richie, Disick has also been seen with other women.

He was spotted on dates with models Bella Banos and Megan Blake Irwin, while hanging out with his ex Kourtney Kardashian, 41.

Kourtney and Scott, who ended their ten-year romance in 2015, have three children together, sons Mason, 10, and Reign, five, and daughter Penelope, eight.
