Lisa Vanderpumpstruggled, like all restaurateurs, with the pandemic, and now she has another headache … a lawsuit for unpaid products.
As you know, Lisa and Ken todd own and operate PUMP and Villa Blanca – 2 LA hotspots … pre-COVID, of course. Both joints closed last year during quarantine, but were used to receiving shipments of fruit and vegetables from a company called West Central Produce.
Now West Central Produce is suing restaurants, not Lisa, for past deliveries. In the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, WCP claims to have received its last payment from Villa Blanca in March 2020 for $ 8,890.10 … while PUMP has disbursed more than $ 9,144.70. That’s a ton of vegetables!
But that’s around the time the quarantine began, forcing restaurants to shut down for several months – and WCP says the money has stopped coming from Vanderpump’s restaurants as well.
All told, the company says it owes just under $ 100,000 from the two restaurants. He sues for this amount, plus interest.

What’s interesting is that Lisa and Ken announced last summer that Villa Blanca is closing for good. Like many restaurants, closures due to the pandemic were too hard to overcome – but the good news is Lisa says PUMP will eventually reopen.
Ken tells us that while he was unaware of the lawsuit, if he owes anyone money, he will make sure his accountants are paid to WCP. He says COVID has been a tough time for everyone in the restaurant business. PUMP has been closed since the start of the pandemic.
One more thing … your mom would love us to remind you to eat your veggies! 😉
