[LISTEN] Barack Obama releases his annual summer playlist

It’s been a huge weekend for the dads who have had their turn with the AUX cord. First, Tom Hanks celebrated his 65th birthday with a surf-rock DJ set on Boss Radio 66. Next, Barack Obama posted his annual summer playlist on Twitter, with a caption explaining, “It’s a mix. of old and new, artists, and a lot in between. SZA’s “Good Days” made the cut, as did Bruno Mars and Anderson’s collaboration. Paak, Silk Sonic and their track, “Leave the Door Open”. There are tracks from Jazmine Sullivan, Rihanna and Migos, as well as Obama’s signature rock daddy: Rolling Stones, George Harrison, Chicago and Bob Dylan. It also weaves its way into a trail of We the people, an animated School rock–executive-style educational musical series produced by Barack and Michelle Obama.
