A new mix of Beatles '' Oh! Darling 'from producer Giles Martin is out – you can listen to the title below.

The song originally appeared on the band's "Abbey Road" album, in 1969, and has just been mixed by Martin, the son of the late Beatles producer, George Martin, at the # 39, occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the disc.

You can hear Giles Martin's mix of "Oh! Below, as well as the "Take 4" sessions "Abbey Road", which has never been published before, and which contains a Hammond organ surdubbed by Billy Preston.

A press release explains in more detail the origins of "Oh! Honey & # 39 ;.

"The track originally had to be included in the songs of the album "Get Back" (which later became "Let It Be"). Because it was meant to be played live, they wanted it to be simple and straightforward – that's why Paul wrote that with a 'rock' 50 'feel, which they all liked.

"They tried it in the Apple studio in January (one taken from this session was included in Anthology 3) but they returned to Abbey Road in April. Paul tried to perfect the voice for several days to find the right performance and they finally used Take 26 as the basis for the vocal overdubs of the final version."

Both tours will be featured in Abbey Road Special Anniversary Special Reissues, which will arrive on September 27th.

Earlier this week, a new Beatles mural was unveiled in the New Brighton resort near the Tower Ballroom venue where the band played several times.
