As promised, Justin Bieber released not only a new single, but a music video in which the singer fights to fight, a fitting tribute to anyone who has had their ass kicked by 2020. Bieber has dropped the track. and the accompanying video at midnight, January 1, after its premiere T-Mobile Presents New Years Eve Live With Justin Bieber Thursday evening. “Oh yeah, I’m playing my new single #ANYONE during #BieberNYE tomorrow night,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
The video, directed by Colin Tilley, shows the rocky singer for Zoey Deutch’s Adrian, running on the beach, drinking raw eggs, falling in love and, of course, hitting his opponent. “I can’t think of a better way to close 2020 and kick off 2021 than to celebrate with my fans around the world and share this new music with them,” Bieber said in a press release issued by Billboard. “Music has allowed us all to experience so much this year, and for me personally, it has been healing and transformative.” Watch the “Anyone” video clip below.
