Lister is a strange society. Although best known for building strange racing cars based on Jaguar in the good old days, he primarily uses the construction of modified streetcar versions of current sports cars and Jaguar SUVs. A few years ago, the company began offering continuation versions of its famous Knobbly sports driver. She will even sell you a kit to assemble in your own garage. But a few days ago, Lister's co-owner and CEO, Lawrence Whittaker, released the rendering of a modern Knobbly Lister on Twitter.

We do not know exactly what will be under the hood of this rolling sculpture in the heart of modern and vintage. The Knobbly original cars were equipped with 3.4-liter Inline-6 engines, but it would be logical for the modern Knobbly to derive its energy from a current Jaguar engine. The 5-liter V8-type F might be the one that's more likely. Lister is currently building a version of the 660 horsepower R-Type R, which they call the LFT Thunder LFT-666. Similar power levels in a high-end, lightweight, heavy-duty sports car chassis would certainly be invigorating.
