E.Mantulova pointed out that all institutions located on Tilžės Street could be reached on the city side. Traffic will be organized as it has been to date – a temporary route.

. Then, road users should move to the circular crossroads of this artery and Mokyklos Street. The latter will be transformed into regulated traffic lights.

The municipality takes over the renovation of Mokyklos Street when road users can start working at the intersection.

The work is carried out by the winner company "Zemkasa" with the limited liability company "Tilts". This work will leave nearly 4,119 million euros.

According to the contract, the reconstruction of Tilžės Street must be carried out within three years. The arterial coverage will be modified, bike paths and pedestrian walkways will be restored, the engineering networks renewed.

Work is completed on Tilžės Street, from the junction of the Jakai Ring Road to the railway crossing. They were organized by the Lithuanian Road Administration and operated by Lemminkainen Lietuva

Renewal of about two kilometers from the section of Tilžės Street will cost more than 1.7 million. euro

After reconstruction, the number of traffic lanes remained unchanged – two remained, but they were wider. Additional traffic lanes are located at intersections, at turning points, there are bus entrances at stations. In this part of Tilzi Street there is a bridge and pedestrian bicycle lane
