The election of a Seimas member in the Zanavykai district will take place on September 16, the day of August 7. This constituency includes Sakiai and several districts of Kaunas and Vilkaviškis.
The seat of a Seimas member remained vacant here, when Mr. Bastys was elected in Zanavykai District, refused the parliamentary term. He accepted the decision to withdraw from the Seimas when he did not have enough votes to abolish his mandate and, therefore, a thousandth rally organized by the Seimas
