Visitors to the Peruvian Zoo are delighted by the rare lure

Two white lizard chicks were presented to visitors to the zoo in Peru's capital this week. They saw the world in captivity in Mexico

A four-month-old female and a five-month-old man can be seen at the Huaichipa Zoo in downtown Lima. "The condition of the lobes is good.They arrived in Lima according to the exchange program," said Pilar Martinez, a spokeswoman for the zoo.

The white lion chicks already weigh about 50 kilos. According to the handler, the puppies eat five kilograms of beef and chicken every day.

The Lima Zoo received these lunches in exchange for several Humboldt penguins. However, Martinez has not revealed how accurately these birds went to Mexico.

Veterinarian Celia Diaz explained that white lions are not albinos. The unique color of their fur is determined by the variant of the gene, which also has white tigers. "This species is very rare and threatened with extinction," she said.
