Andrew, for the first time you will make the album "North Night, half of the five." From beginning to end. Have you ever wondered if you decided to do it with the Chamber Orchestra?
This is the only one of my albums that you can even do. I mean – everything. This album has a solid story – between dream and reality. I have been waiting for the opportunity to do it from start to finish.
For the first time I worked with Modeste Pitréne and I had a very good impression about it. Simple to communicate, Modest feels the music perfectly, with it – everything is easy. Some people are lighter, others are heavier.

Which team did you work on this show?
All arrangements were written by Jeviršas Jasinskis. During the concert, he hides modestly between the winds and plays the trombone. This man transferred all the music to Natas and applied it to the orchestra, added his colors to everything. Officially it is said that it's my concert, but in fact – here's a huge team work and performance.
For example, Marius Selevicius is one of the best lighting designers in Lithuania. We worked with him more than once. It's even unfortunate that I can not see the country on the lighting stage. Marius worked with Rammstein. He is one of the few people to do things with love, not miss anything from his fingers. I'm glad he's ordering.

Are rehearsals with the orchestra different from the ones you have most often with? a group?
Repetitions would be more desirable. When we play with the band, we repeat every day at least two weeks before the concert, with the orchestra – everything else. The specifics of the orchestra itself are different. It is not always easy to bring so many people to one place, but we worked a lot before the concert, we went to the exclusive courtyard of the Royal Palace.
When I got home, I got up, I found him. I feel good. The feeling comes from the people who are involved.

After many years on stage, do you still feel a little worried when you have to "open" the festival?
No, I was involved in my life at a foreign festival. Then I played in "Hamlet". When we traveled with the director Eimuntas Nekrošius, most of his performances opened or closed the festivals.
At the album "North Night. A fifth." – 20 years old. I published it at the end of the summer.
I recorded this album when I started playing Hamlet, which is why there are many "uncontrollable" and dark moods. I put a lot of work and love in it. The album is special.
Each of my new musical works seems to compete with this album and is usually lost. Probably something in this life is created once. "Nuits du Nord, a half-five." – My greatest musical work. For this reason, I am terribly happy to perform with the orchestra.
