The Garsas Film Center invites the audience to celebrate the State Day with the latest creations of the Lithuanian creators. On Friday, July 6, the public will have the opportunity to see three different films dedicated to the celebration of King Mindaugas's Coronation Day.
6 July 18 hours Premiere of the film "The Creator of the Freedom Monument Juozas Zikaras". The film will be presented to the public by the participant and winner of several international festivals, Linas Mikuta and the member of the creative group Jūratė Kavaliauskienė. Lithuania celebrates its 100th anniversary. For this important anniversary, the public company "Dermė" and the director Linas Mikuta created a documentary "The Liberty Monument Creator Juozas Zikaras". The sculptor J. Zikaras is one of the most prominent artists in the Panevėžys region, leaving a lot of deep work in the history of the creation of the Lithuanian state.

The group, which its creators call true movie and history festivals, has become a serious challenge for its director and operator, Andrew Bartke. The film will recall the time of Mindaugas in Lithuania, specifically the 1247th. In historical history, the public of Leitis will see the most important prehistory of the time, see the inhabitants of the countryside, the daily life of the Leijites called elite warriors, take part in battles, hear the sound of the old Russian language and, with the Lithuanian army, march against the principality of Russia. 11 July 18 hours The public is invited to the exclusive screening of the film, in which the film will be presented by director Andrius Bartkus and the main actor Andrius Povilauskas is known for the Panevėžys.
The events of July 6 will be over 22 hours open-air cinema near the Garsas Film Center. The recently restored film "Herkus Mantas" (directed by Marjonas Giedrys) will be shown. This film is a memorial for the Prussian people, their language and their culture for the relatives of Lithuanians, exterminated by the Teutonic Order. In the 13th century, the Prussians rebelled, paralyzing the resistance of the Crusaders in the East for a long time, and fell into a murderous struggle, leaving their lands and their name to the transgressors.
