Club Marijampolė, which triumphed at NKL, was completed by two newcomers

Marijampolė, winner of the NKL, "Sūduva-Mantinga" continues the construction work. Two other newcomers are reported this time: John Zak (21 m., 192 cm) and Julius Lies (19 meters, 195 cm).

Last year, J. Zakas played in the club Moletai Ežerūnas and was one of the leaders of the team: he got an average of 13.7 points and 10.8 points for the game.

2016-2018 In the seasons, J. Zakas was also an episodic representative of the club LKL Utena Juventus.

In the final season, late February, John was recognized as the NKL's most valuable weekly basketball player.

Last year, J.Liesis represented the Kaunas KTU team with an average of 7.7 points and 7.3 points in the game.

This summer, the defender appeared on the enlarged list of the Lithuanian under-20 team.

In February, J.Liesis became champion of the LSKL. In the VMU final he defeated LSU University. The newcomer of Marijampolė also contributed significantly to this victory: he scored 11 points and 18 points of performance.

A two-year contract was signed with the basketball player.
