The first photographs created by T.Weigel were exhibited at the exhibition "Quadrennial 2014 – Painting on a Flagstaff" in Vilnius

The photographs exhibited at the exhibition "The Book of Dreams" Anxiety "capture the Lithuanian landscape. This is a series of conceptual photographs in black and white. The series of photographs consists of nine photographs, divided into three parts: "Dreams of children", "Dreams on the birthplace", "Dreams on the future". Each photo of the photograph is accompanied by a short textual comment, either a quote from a literary clbadic or a children's film, or an individual mark of departure and arrival for a electronic ticket of airport. The intertexts mentioned above seem to characterize the photographs of T. Wiegel, but at the same time it is a philosophical photograph that stops the fragment of landscape at a certain moment. In this photo, the image and text dialogue creates a certain tension and intrigue. Through her, T. W. Ellis photographed existential questions, creating a symbolic language, forcing the viewer to stop, think and contemplate. All the dreams of the Book of Dreamers of Anxiety, like our dream dreams, which intertwine the elements of speech and the visual impressions expressed in fragments of text and photographs. The first cycle of "Children's Dreams" uses the titles of popular children's films in the Soviet era and quotes of children's songs, they are written in Russian and represent allusions to the historical and cultural memory from the Soviet era.

The cycle "Dreams of the Fatherland" quotes the first line of the work of Adam Mickiewicz "The Lord Tadas", which rejects the images of nature Kaunas, dissociates, creates a dialogue. The fragments of this quote are in Yiddish, Polish and Lithuanian. Thus, the fragmentation of the clbadical line is the contradiction between the conception of identity, the variety of photographic images that compels us to rethink what is traditionally established.

The cycle "Dreams of the Future" focuses on the notes of the electronic board of the Vilnius airport. They become the ironic motto of the three photographs, directing the viewer not to space but to the space of inner reflections and dreams.

The conceptual exhibition T. Wiegel is unconventional in Lithuanian photography through its intertexts. . The author describes the essence of his photographic cycle as follows: "Identities and reality are constructions created by the human imagination and the power of the word, I try to express no only the emergence of these constructions and stereotyped efficiency but also their characteristic fragility and their illusory nature.
