– "Zalgiris" did not succeed in a few games, and instead we were lucky, we won a few points. I would say that our coach has correctly said that the place of "Žalgiris" in the tournament table does not completely reflect their game. Naturally, in Žalgiris Arena, it is very difficult for anyone to play, even for the Zalgiris themselves. When there are so many spectators, it is an additional pressure not only for the rivals, but also for themselves. I hope that there will be a good, tense and beautiful match.

– What has changed in the Milan team game, namely that these victories are now more than defeats?
– Last season, we played well in the first half of the season and in the second we went bankrupt. This year, overall, the team is stronger in terms of individuality, but I think we are also stronger members. The atmosphere is better, last year we went everywhere with thoughts to lose or conquer as little as possible, and this year we are trying to win and that has changed. Contributing to the advent of Mike James, Vladimir Microv saw his own renaissance of basketball, playing violently well and wisely. We miss a lot of Nemanja Nedovič. This week we were interesting because there was a lack of players in the workouts. We will continue our problems, we will prove everything tomorrow on the spot.
– How do you personally start the season?

– How is the fourth position special so that bullets do not fall into your hands?
– These are their own accents. We emphasize other things. For this reason, I'm not sorry to complain, the season is long and everything will be fine. In the last two games, it was a little better because the fourth digit was more useful. Coaches monitor, emphasize and look for weaknesses. We individually have strong players, so usually the end of the attack option there is another one, but there are many other ways to help the team: to fight for balls, to try to defend oneself, to come up against a quick attack, to stay at home. Where you have to stand.
– Maybe your habits change so often when you play fourth?
– No, I'm trying to do what I've done. I try to stay after workout and work because I still see myself in third position in the future. I really want to play there, so I try not to lose skills. In training, the coach allows you to play in third position, there were also several episodes in the game. You do not need to stress this position. Although we are lucky, everything is fine.
– Artūras Gudaitis may have added something new to his game compared to last year?
– I think his biggest advantage is that he is psychologically ready. As you can see, this inflicts fines and plays steadily in every game, and it is very difficult to maintain stability. I remember that a few years ago, I was one of the first to say that Arthur, with his own data, is an NBA player, would not it? only for a very good environment. Arthur needs a positivity to support him. In Milan, the whole organization is positive, even if we lose, we do not get any devils, everything pbades through a positive prism. I think that's exactly what the NBA would do for him because there is just as positive.
– Maybe the FIBA window will be able to stay longer in Lithuania?
– We do not know how many free days we have, one or two.
– If you win, there may be more days?
– That's why I hope to stay (smile).
– Žalgiris sometimes plays with two very high midfielders, Kavaliauskas and Daviesas or Birutis. What options can you offer before such a fifth?
– I think there will simply be more tactical decisions for the coaches. In this case, if Kavaliauskas plays a fourth number, he will have an advantage on the basket in front of me or Jeff Brooks. But at that time, we should take advantage of our attack because we are much faster. We have both been and hope we will be third place players. It will depend on coaches, teammates and tactical exploits.
– "Zalgiris" after the injury of Paul Janko becomes vulnerable in fourth position?
– Yes, Paul is a very important player, but his composition is not such that a player will fall and everything will collapse. It is an equivalent composition in which all players can play.
