After the theater season, some of the country's institutions begin to rebuild, some theaters will not operate in their premises for several years and promise to perform in other venues.

The Lithuanian National Drama Theater will close on June 21st. According to theater director Martin Budraitis, 15.3 million people will live in the city. A new small hall of 300 rooms will be built in the inner courtyard of the theater, and a studio of about 100 seats will be set up, aimed at young directors.

The drama theater Siauliai has already renewed the small hall, it was opened this year. According to theater director Aurimas Žvinis, the new planned season will be held in September in the big renovated stage.

According to him, the small room was adapted to receive the spectators: new sounds, lighting devices, chairs, all the scenic machines. Construction work has been carried out in the Great Hall: renovation of walls, floors, ceilings, electricity, plumbing systems, partially renovated light and sound equipment, but according to A. Žvinio, "far from what is necessary". In total, the theater expects not to spend more than 2 million renewal.

By the end of 2021, a new Klaipėda Musical Drama Theater is planned – currently at the Fishermen's Palace, at the Klaipėda Drama Theater, concerts are being held in the Concert Hall of the Klaipėda Academy of Arts.
