Nine suspected cases have now been registered in Visaginas, announced Thursday the National Center of Public Health.

"Until now, only one case of measles has been detected, others are suspected.if they prove it, it will be a measles epidemic", has said Diana Brunevičienė, Head of Quality Management and Communication at the National Public Health Center.

There were nine employees of a sewing company at the hospital with alleged intent to Visaginas.

Center specialists took steps to control the epidemic.
