‘Little People, Big World’ star Jacob Roloff’s family offer support after accusing producer of sexual assault

Jacob Roloff, “Little People, Big World” star, has a strong support system.

On Tuesday, Roloff, 23, shared a lengthy social media statement in which he accuses one of the show’s producers, Chris Cardamone, of assaulting him as a child after a “long process of grooming ”.

In his statement, the reality TV star noted the difficulties in presenting his charge and said he has been reflecting on the decision since 2015.

Roloff shared his statement on the two Twitter and Instagram, and members of his family have reached out in support.

“I love you forever and ever Jacob. I am proud of you,” wrote his mother, Amy Roloff, per People magazine. “Now you don’t have to feel alone and carry this with you anymore.”

His father, Matt, added: “I love you Jacob George Roloff… very proud!”

In his article, Roloff also touched on the “more difficult preliminary questions” of the effect growing up in the spotlight has on children, as well as the morality of reality TV.

Referring to that specific line, Audrey, her sister-in-law through her brother Jeremy, shared her thoughts.

“I love this line,” she said. “I hate that I had to live through this Jacob.”

Tori, the wife of the star’s brother, Zach, also commented.

“I love you, George,” she said using her middle name.

Roloff’s wife Isabel Sofia Rock also shared some love for her husband.

“Proud to know you, proud to love you, proud to be your wife,” she said.

The Roloff family appeared on the TLC reality show in various capacities from 2006 to 2019.

“I don’t expect to provide details of this meeting at any time publicly,” the star said in the statement. “I hope he will never be allowed to be around children again.

In a statement, TLC, they said they were “just informed of an alleged encounter that took place years ago involving a third party connected with the production of ‘Little People, Big World’.”
