Almost eight years ago, Timmothy and his mother took a road trip that included stops at a zoo and a water park. Their adventure began after Amy Fry-Pitzen released her 6-year-old son from an elementary school in Illinois on May 11, 2011.
Three days later, the mother's body was found in a hotel room in Rockford, Illinois. She had committed suicide, leaving behind a note saying that her son was with people who like him.
Timmothy's family, including his father, continued to search for him.
"I know in my heart that he is absolutely alive, one hundred percent," said his aunt, Kara Jacobs, in an interview last year for the National Center for Missing and Displaced Children. exploited. "I know he's out, we just have to find him."
