Georgia’s Democratic Senate candidate Jon Ossoff attempted Sunday to strike out Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.
Ossoff, who faces a Jan.5 run-off against Republican Senator David Perdue, told CNN’s “State of the Union” that President-elect Joe Biden’s administration needed “the ability … to govern in the midst of a crisis ”and that a Senate held by the Republicans would hamper all the initiatives put forward by the new White House, in particular when it comes to dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
