Livonia Burger King employee points handgun at customers after payment disagreement

LIVONIA, Mich. – A Garden City man has been charged with allegedly pointing a handgun at three customers while working at the Burger King drive-thru at 29211 West Seven Mile Road in Livonia April 28.

Police say Dustin Rocheleau, 24, pointed the handgun at customers after a disagreement over how to pay.

The customers drove off and then contacted the Livonia police. According to police, Rocheleau was arrested after fleeing the restaurant on foot.

Police found the handgun in his backpack. He was arrested without incident.

He faces gun charges related to the incident, police said.

Rocheleau appeared in Livonia’s 16th District Court on July 29 and waived his preliminary examination.

He is scheduled for an information arraignment on August 5.
