Beginning Sunday, federal officials will make a national effort to stop immigrants who have been issued with a final expulsion order. The raids will target ten major cities and will target mainly Central American families who have crossed the US border with Mexico. President Trump said the crackdown was aimed at keeping criminals out of the country – but the leaders of some of these cities, such as New York and San Francisco, oppose this effort.
