A 49-year-old man from Long Beach died after being shot dead Thursday in an illegal gambling facility on the Pacific Coast Highway, police said.
An officer was on routine patrol at 1:05 am Thursday, when he saw a crowd of people gathered on the sidewalk of the 1,500 block of the west Pacific Pacific Highway just west of Walnut Avenue, where a man was shot dead. the police said.
