What are you doing this afternoon? If your answer is something to "watch the live stream of an empty Steve Jobs Theater," honestly, I do not know how you call yourself an Apple fan.
A day before the company's event in Cupertino, Apple's streaming video of what appears to be an empty theater, bathed in darkness, with some swirling psychedelic designs on the big screen. It's almost certainly an attempt to get more interest every day as fans scramble to see if someone accidentally lets food run after morning rehearsals.
Most likely, what we see is a composite, a CG mockup or a pre-recorded video of the space. There are even occasional cases strange pop up on the big screen. Apple is known for having fun at our expense just before the big event. Call it a funny gaffe or a good driving troll, but the company has certainly attracted attention. Not what we need
Apple is expected to launch a number of new products tomorrow, including a Netflix competitor, offers news and game service. It even seems like a credit card is being manufactured.
