Looks like a new Hot Wheels game is about to launch on Switch

Earlier this month, an Xbox Store listing revealed that a new Hot Wheels game is on the way. It apparently arrives on Microsoft’s platform on September 29 as Hot Wheels Unleashed.

A new teaser from the official Hot Wheels Twitter account tagging the official Nintendo account apparently confirms that this game is also on its way to the Switch. There’s a Hot Wheels countdown teaser website and it seems to share the same graphic as the previously leaked image (see above).

According to the listing (via Pure Xbox), the game is being developed by Milestone (the team that worked on Stroll) and will offer an online and offline multiplayer mode as well as a course creator. Here’s part of an archived description:

Unleash your creativity with the most exciting track editor ever! Build your track taking advantage of your surroundings and create amazing layouts inside and outside the course. Fold and stretch the iconic “orange coin”, add loops, special boosters, obstacles and special items to create an amazing amusement park for your races. “
