Lorde had to receive an “intravenous drip” after a crazy day of drinking with Seth Meyers in the late evening

Lorde had a few extra drinks with Seth Meyers during one of her late-night “Day Drinking” segments.

The 24-year-old singer (born Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor) has appeared in Myers, 47, regular segments of Day Drinking, which he previously did with Rihanna, The Jonas Brothers, Kelly Clarkson and more.

The duo shared a few drinks at Zero Bond in New York where they discussed all topics like her full name, with the singer later admitting she had to be put on an intravenous drip.

The singer was promoting her upcoming album Solar Power on the schedule Wednesday night, when they made their debut in the previously filmed segment.

When Meyers asked her how hungover she was the next day, Lorde replied, “I almost can’t even talk about it. I can’t even watch an alcoholic drink anymore.

She added it was “insane,” while Myers said she filmed the segment last Monday, but the next day she appeared on CBS’s The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Meyers said he watched this and was “nervous” because he got her out so late and worried she might not perform well, but she did.

She admitted, “You kind of destroyed me and I had to get a very pop star thing, an IV.”

She added that someone “came to my hotel and administered fluids to my corpse” before performing on The Late Show.

The 12-minute segment featured Lorde and Meyers drinking solar-themed cocktails, as well as Japanese sake, Irish whiskey, red wine from France and White Claw.

Meyers also decided to make it her “mission” to learn her full first name from Ella Marija Lani Yelich-O’Connor.

The singer could ask him to recite his full name, and every time he made a mistake, he had to take a photo.
