Even at 86, Loretta Lynn always knows how to party. And Nashville had the joy of seeing Lynn, a country music legend, singing her iconic "Coal Miner's Daughter" at the Bridgestone Arena on Monday night (April 1st).

As part of a birthday party dedicated to Lynn (she will turn 87 on April 14th), more than 20 of Music City's most legendary and promising stars have paid tribute to living legend by performing ( mainly) his songs during a three hour show.

Officially titled "Loretta Lynn: Stars Celebration Concert Celebration, "The tribute show featured stars like Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Strait of George, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, Kacey Musgraves and more.

It was uncertain that Lynn was going to perform at the event because her health was a concern after suffering a 2017 stroke and a hip fracture in 2018. However, the Queen of the country seemed to be in good health and good mood for the majority of the show to admire the covers of the song of his artistic peers.

It was only the last song of the night; the light is dimmed and all the performers returned to the scene with Lynn assisted on stage, in front of the center, by her family and friends. The crowd is waiting patiently while Lynn gets in with friends Tanya Tucker and sister Crystal Gayle. Gayle turned up "Coal Miner's Girl" and when she finally asked Lynn if she was ready to sing, Lynn replied "I do not want to," to a sneer from the crowd.

The tension of the crowd created as Tucker, Gayle and Lynn sang the first words with Gayle in mind, but seven lines, the First Lady of Country Music would shine again.

Lynn sang while taking the microphone for the first time, "All day in the fields a hoin 'corn" (is this country or what?) with the crowd erupting for the biggest pop of the night. Lynn then moved to her home country for the rest of the song, keeping the lead song in a song she had made famous; adding yet another iconic moment to his legacy.

Happy birthday, Loretta!
