Lori Allen, the owner of the wedding shop who played for nine seasons on TLC's show "Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta", is recovering from serious injuries while she was shooting an episode on Wednesday.
Allen stumbled into the train of a wedding dress and suffered a sharp fall, said his family in a statement, adding that "the extent of his injuries is not yet fully known" . His co-star of "Say Yes to the Dress", Monte Durham, his son Cory, and the film crew of the series quickly jumped into action to get help. She was then taken to a hospital in the area.
The family said that his right wrist was broken, his right arm and his left wrist also.
"Fortunately, his neck is not broken, but very painful," the statement said. "She will probably need surgery on her right wrist, for now she is injured and swollen, so we'll know more after a further evaluation by a specialist on Monday."
