Abandonment at the FBI

… in a university scam

Lori Loughlin has just surrendered to the federal authorities in Los Angeles … after being accused of corruption in a huge scam involving some of the country's most prestigious universities.

Law enforcement forces tell us that Loughlin had made prior arrangements to meet with FBI agents on Wednesday for his surrender.

As we had announced … the FBI came in front of her door early Tuesday morning, but she was not at home because she was shooting in Vancouver. FBI agents arrested her husband, the founder of the Mossimo garment Mossimo Giannulli, who was also indicted in the bribery swindle and made arrangements with Lori's team to surrender when she returned to L.A.

FBI agents will now take Lori to a federal building where she will be treated by federal agents.

As you know … Lori and Felicity Huffman were among the 50 people charged with conspiracy to commit postal fraud and postal fraud related to honest services. Lori and Mossimo would have paid US $ 500,000 for their two daughters to be named as USC team rookies, although the girls did not really participate in the sport.

Huffman was arrested Tuesday – with Mossimo – during an operation in Los Angeles. Both have been released Tuesday night, but did not talk with cameras.
