Los Angeles Rams Monday Night Football Uniforms Throw Memes

The Los Angeles Rams took to the field for Monday night football against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, as if someone forgot to wash their off-white uniforms. The Rams wore a new uniform color that the team dubbed “bone,” but old detergent ads called “dull”.

“The lighter uniform features a one-of-a-kind color called Bone, which reflects the color of a real Rams horn and the beaches of Los Angeles,” the Rams website read.

The fans were indeed failing about it. Let’s just say if your uniform is repeatedly described with the word “dirty,” you should fire your designer and invest in a truckload of Clorox bleach.

“Is it just me or do the Rams’ uniforms look like tight dirty whities?” wrote a Twitter user.

Another said: “The ram bone uniforms really look like dirty sheets.”

Football viewers have found some pretty creative comparisons, from “the whole pit stain shirt,” to Samara, the little ghost girl from Japanese horror film The Ring, to “Ebeneezer Scrooge’s nightgown”.

Buc up

While the Rams’ uniforms have received the most criticism, it’s not like the Buccaneers look trendy, either. Some viewers were equally quick to slam the look of Tampa Bay, with an online poll asking, “Do tonight’s uniforms for both teams smell bad?”

And some sports fans pointed out other nasty uniform looks, one Twitter user noting: “The United Rams aren’t as gross as the year the Padres had road uniforms that looked like someone’s cat. ‘one who was peeing on their whites. “

The uniforms didn’t seem to bother the Rams, who beat Tom Brady’s Bucs 27-24.
