Dobbs, a vocal support of Trump, has called the GOP senator "Never Trumper and Rino" in a segment on Friday night. He started the segment by touting Trump's election chances in 2020 as well as predictions that there would be no recession next year.
"Do you hear tears streaming down the marble floors beneath these terrible and terrible anti-Trump-ers?" he asked, suggesting that more attention should be given to "this thriving Trump economy".
He then announced that Romney would not support the 2020 presidential race, either before or during the general election, when Trump is seeking a second term.
"Romney says that he does not intend to support President Trump for the 2020 elections," began Dobbs.
"I know that many of you were waiting to hear what Romney would say about our president," he said. "Well, there it is."
The segment was reported for the first time by Mediaite.
Dobbs noted that Romney was refusing until now to support Trump "or any other Republican candidate in the primary or general election".
"I mean that despair is spreading in the country now," he said.
Dobbs pointed out that Romney also refused to approve Trump in 2016 before finally winning, adding: "As you can see, he is not learning fast."
He then turned to Kelly Sadler, a former White House White House aide, communications officer for a pro-Trump super-PAC, about Romney, asking: "What's up? what's wrong with this man? "
Romney, who has sporadically broken with Trump on various policy issues, said this week that he was not planning to support anyone in the 2020 election.
"I do not plan to run in the presidential race," he told CNN. "At this point, I do not plan to give my approval to the primary or the general."
The senator from Utah has already stated that he may not approve by 2020, telling reporters earlier this year that "I do not think the endorsements are worth it." to be disappointed ".
"I wonder if we should call Romney and the RINOs who do not support the president … we could just call them the 6% Illuminated, because the President has 94% … Republican Party support," Dobbs said in his speech . show friday. "So, I guess they want to build a base around 6 percent."
