Louis CK is making his comeback with a multi-city tour across the United States.
The disgraced comedian has remained relatively under the radar since 2017, when he was accused of sexual misconduct during the height of the #MeToo movement. After a handful of unpopular attempts to return to the stage and do comedy, the 53-year-old announced on Wednesday he is embarking on a tour that begins at New York’s Hulu Theater in Madison Square Garden on August 13-14.
“Hello who you are right now, I am writing to you today because I will be touring the United States of America, performing stand-up comedy in theaters in several different cities”, CK, real name Louis Székely, said in an email announcing the tour (via the New York Post).
According to its website, the tour is scheduled to end on Dec. 11 in Boston, Massachusetts, after visiting around 30 cities across the country, giving several shows in places like Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Portland, Minneapolis, Kansas City. , San Diego and more.
