Louisville QB Jawon goes on to play in western Kentucky

Louisville announced that starting quarterback Jawon Pass would not play Saturday's game against Western Kentucky because of a "lower limb injury". Sophomore Malik Cunningham will take the start instead of Pass.

Cunningham missed part of the fall camp in Louisville because of a knee injury, but made his first appearance of the season last week against Eastern Kentucky. He completed the only pass he made three, a 24-yard win, and also ran four times for 73 yards and a score. Cunningham started three games for the Cards last season.

Pass started the first two games of Louisville in 2019, completing 24 of 46 passes for 330 yards and four goals with an interception. He also ran 20 times for 104 yards and two touchdowns, but lost three fumbles in the opening game of the season against the Notre Dame team.

Let's do the work, Malik.
