Luann de Lesseps was sent back to prison after violating probation

Luann de Lesseps will sing behind bars.

The star of "Real Housewives of New York" was sentenced to jail on Thursday for her probation charges, according to a local outlet in West Palm Beach, Florida.

It is not known how long De Lesseps, 54, will remain in detention, but the judge agreed with her probation officer that she did not take her seriously because she failed an alcohol test and did not not attended AA meetings.

The Florida Prison Service Department first accused him of not taking probation seriously earlier this month, after his New York-based probation officer reported that[she had] an alcohol test done on 21/04/2019. "I take my sobriety very seriously and, like many others in my situation, it's a daily struggle," said de Lesseps in a statement of the time. "I remain determined to do all that is necessary to continue to lead a healthy and sober life."

She was ordered to return to court soon after and stated that she was "looking forward to [her] court to present evidence clarifying these allegations. "

His lawyers then asked prosecutors to present all their evidence before his appearance, but it is difficult to know when they presented the documents.

She was arrested for the first time in Palm Beach on Christmas Eve 2017 as a result of a drunken attack where she attacked and threatened to kill a police officer. She entered into a plea agreement in the case to avoid a prison sentence in August after attending a rehab in place of the "RHONY" meeting of season 10. She also re-inserted in rehab for the second time as well.
