Lucasfilm Announces Trip to the Birth of Skywalker Novels and Comics

The late Carrie Fisher will once again perform the role of Leia Organa, using unprecedented footage shot for Star Wars: The awakening of the force.

Star Wars: Episode IX began touring at Pinewood Studios in London on August 1, with J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The awakening of the force, Star Trek) coming back to direct the last installment of the Skywalker saga. Abrams co-wrote the screenplay with Chris Terrio (Argo, Justice League). Composer John Williams, who has scored every chapter of the Star Wars saga since 1977 New hopewill come back to a galaxy far, far away with Episode IX.

The film will be produced by Kathleen Kennedy, J.J. Abrams and Michelle Rejwan, and executive produced by Callum Greene and Jason McGatlin.

Star Wars: Episode IX The release of the film is scheduled for December 20.
