Lucasfilm watches the knights of the old republic

Star Wars: The Knights of the Old Republic is an era and a subset of Star wars that fans have long been clamoring to see live action. And while this wait will continue, Kathleen Kennedy, head of Lucasfilm, has confirmed that something based on the classic video game is potentially bubbling.

"You know we're talking about[[[[Knights of the Old Republic]all the time, Kennedy told MTV at Star wars Party. "Yes, we develop something to watch. Right now, I do not know where things are going at all, but you have to pay attention to the pace. Star wars it does not start too much to appear. It is important to note here the choice of words by Kennedy. "Developing something to watch" does not mean it's a project in progress or anything. It's more like someone who works on a lot and if it works, it may be something. And it does not even seem like it's a movie or a TV show. Just "something to watch". This could also be the Benioff and Weiss films. We simply do not know.

And yet, any chance that a story set thousands of years before the Empire can appear, and become canon, is really exciting.
