"The story of # lucifer is coming to an end: the fifth and last season comes on @netflix," the "Lucifer" tweet read.
The show follows the character of Ellis, Lucifer, the fallen angel and Lord of Hell, as he moves to Los Angeles, opens a nightclub and meets a detective specializing in homicides that inspires him to shoot down land criminals.
The premiere of season 5 has not been announced yet, but it will be the last season.
"Lucifer" had already been broadcast on Fox during his first three seasons, before Netflix began its fourth season in early May.
