Luke Combs was a resounding show closer on Wednesday, June 5, 2019 CMT Music Awards with this testimony to the soothing properties of beer.

Little Big Town, immersed in the beer-pong game, gave him the right introduction, and Combs then followed the scene as a Budweiser evangelist to bring the sermon home.

While the insistent rhythm of the song made the crowd vibrate, a rain of confetti rained, almost obscuring the rays of light.

Combs and Leon Bridges share a CMT Music Awards win for CMT's "Beautiful Crazy" performance of the year CMT Crossroads.

"I do not know what to say. First of all, thank you to my beautiful fiancée Nicole for having inspired this song, "he said. He also thanked co-authors Wyatt Durrette and Robert Williford for writing the song with him and Bridges for his performance.

"Make some noise for this cat right here," Bridges added. "Thanks for letting me be part of your beautiful song, brother."
