The star of "Beverly Hills 90210" died March 4 in a hospital in Burbank, California, a few days after suffering a serious stroke.

Officially, Perry's death was listed as an "ischemic cerebrovascular accident," according to the paper.

Perry, whose real name was Coy Luther Perry III, was 52 years old.

Originally from Ohio, Perry owned a farm in Vanleer, Tennessee, where he lived part-time since the mid-1990s, according to the Tennessean.
After his death, his co-stars of "90210" and the young cast of "Riverdale" CW, in which he was a regular in the series, have kept a memorable memory.
The production of "Riverdale" was briefly interrupted in the days following Perry's death. Warner Bros. Television, which produces the series, did not specify how his death would be treated in the series.
"Tonight's #Riverdale episode finds Fred doing what he does best – helping Archie," writes showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa on Instagram after Perry's death. "It's dedicated to Luke, as all episodes will be for the rest of our run."

CNN's Cheri Mossburg contributed to this story.
