Luke Perry rests in Tennessee

DICKSON, Tennessee (WVLT) – The star of "Beverly Hills 90210", Luke Perry, was buried Monday in Middle Tennessee.

According to TMZ, Perry was buried in Dickson. CBS affiliate, WREG, said Perry had owned a property in the county on Sylvia Road. He bought it in 1994, a month after the release of his film "8 Seconds".

"He acted as if we were part of his family. He would always hug you, "said Janet Grimes, adding that he often brought his own family to the restaurant for breakfast. He has visited his restaurant several times over the years.

Perry died at the age of 52 following a stroke. His representative, Arnold Robinson, stated United States today that he was surrounded by his children, his fiancé and other family members when he passed away.

"The family appreciates the support and prayers that have been addressed to Luke around the world and respectfully requests privacy during this time of deep mourning," Robinson said in a statement. "No other details will be published yet."
