Luke Rockhold may have an idea in mind for his debut in the UFC light heavyweight category.

Rockhold (16-4 MMA, 6-3 UFC), the former UFC middleweight champion, intends to finally climb into the 205-pound category. The UFC event at Saturday's ESPN + 3 main event had a person who apparently was interested.

Thiago "Marreta" Santos (21-6 MMA, 13-5 UFC) defeated Jan Blachowicz (23-8 MMA, 6-5 UFC) by the third round TKO in the top duel that went on to O2 Arena Prague and has on ESPN +.

It is about Santos who could potentially win the title, but Rockhold said he was not impressed by the Brazilian (via Twitter):

Sloppy Santos ha easy money

Rockhold has not participated in the competition since losing to Yoel Romero in the UFC 221 playoff heat in February 2018. He was scheduled to play Chris Weidman at UFC 230 in November, but was forced to retire to because of an injury. This withdrawal has favored his decision to skip weight classes, and he apparently wants Santos (via Twitter):
