Jodie Chapman, one of the Dog the bounty hunter Duane's daughter-in-law "Dog" Chapman asked her family to visit Idaho after her trip to Colorado for the ceremony of her mother-in-law Beth Chapman on Saturday. Sister-in-law Lyssa Chapman was the first to answer, and it looks like Jodie might want to drop the challenge.
On Sunday, Jodie, the wife of Dog's son, Wesley Chapman, shared photos of the special event, including one from Dog with Wesley. Other pictures showed Jodie and Wesley with their friends.
"We had a very special time in Denver to celebrate the life of [Beth Chapman] with family, friends and fans, "wrote Jodie. The memorial service was beautiful and spending time with the family was really necessary. "
In the end, she added, "Now it's time for all of you to come to Idaho."
Lyssa spotted the challenge on Jodie's Twitter page. She retweeted her sister-in-law, adding, "Oh girl, be careful what you want …"
Wesley and Jodie live in Idaho, where they record a podcast called Life with the chapmans. Wesley also found the charity A Human Project.
On July 1, Jodie shared an inspiring message with her fans, pointing out that the losses she suffered in her life reminded her that life was short. Jodie lost her brother in 2016, her grandfather in 2019 and her grandmother earlier this year.
"You never know, from one minute to the next, when it 's over or when you' re getting this dreaded phone call, when you 'd like you to call or you can say I' m like one last time, "Jodie wrote at the time. "Father's time has a way of getting us people when we least expect it, and with that, I learned a lot."
Beth Chapman died on June 26 after a battle with throat cancer. Dog held a small memorial in Hawaii a few days after his death, but the family reunited Saturday at the Heritage Christian Center in Aurora, Colorado, to remember her. Towards the end of the memorial, Dog delivered a passionate speech.
"I still have not let her go," Dog said through her tears. "She will never be dead for me. [just] in another place. "
Although Beth was cremated, Dog said he had trouble responding to his request to disperse his ashes. In fact, he said Entertainment tonight that sometimes he drives with them tied in his car.
"So, I wanted to put them in the car and seatbelts, and I want to take them with me, but it's like, morbid, you know, you really have to watch it," Dog said. "These are the times when people go beyond the limit.And you really have to look at how you do it because my life, I have lived experiences to help others – I really mean it."
Beth will be seen in The most wanted dog, a new series that will debut on WGN America next year.
