After yesterday’s AFC Division playoff game between the Cleveland Browns and the Kansas City Chiefs, star quarterback Patrick Mahomes and former Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson exchanged words on Twitter after Wilson approached Mahomes, which led to the 2019 MVP being placed in the NFL concussion protocol.

Wison had expressed his apologies to Mahomes on social media and also defended his name after many fans claimed he was a dirty player. Mahomes responded, apparently rejecting the whole thing and accepting the apology.

Mahomes’ mother Randi also took to Twitter to call Wilson. Declaring “evil never wins” and included Wilson’s jersey number.

The tweet appeared to be a direct call to Wilson’s success on Mahomes.

Wilson, who took every opportunity to make it known that the move was unintentional and that he was not a ‘dirty player’, responded directly.
