MacRumors Giveaway: Win a pair of upcoming AirPods 2 from Apple

Apple is working on second-generation AirPods that should be announced shortly, perhaps even in March.

We know that the AirPod 2 are not yet available, but we are launching a new free feature that will allow us to offer MacRumeurs Readers have the opportunity to win unannounced Apple products at launch, and we start with the AirPods.

According to rumors, the next version of the AirPods would come with "Hey Siri" support for Siri hands-free requests and a new wireless charging case for Qi-based wireless charging at a minimum, but a few other features are supposed to.

Apple may be working on a black color for second-generation AirPods, and AirPods may also have an updated, matte-colored coating. If Apple publishes white AirPods and black AirPods, you can choose the color of your choice.

There have been vague references to other features such as heart rate monitoring, but we are not convinced that these rumors are accurate. Such a feature could happen to the AirPods at some point, but most of the information suggests that the first refresh of the AirPods will be rather minor.

Whatever Apple's next AirPod, that's what our gift winner will receive at the end of the giveaway.
