COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Macy’s has announced the closure of its Post Oak Mall in College Station.
A company representative says the location is one of approximately 45 stores that will be closed this year as part of its 3-year store closure plan.
A clearance sale is expected to begin in January and last 8 to 12 weeks before the store officially closes.
The closest Macy’s location to The Woodlands will remain open and regular non-seasonal employees who do not transfer will be eligible for severance pay.
