Panopoulos told CarScoops they had just opened the books for what he described as “the first ultra car on the planet” having already secured their first order with the first delivery slated for early 2022.

Spyros also explained that the Chaos will be street legal, priced at around 5.5 million euros ($ 6.4 million) for the base 2,000 hp variant, up to 12.4 million. euros ($ 14.4 million) for the complete 3000 hp model.

The Chaos ultra car will attempt to set a new lap record for the fastest production car at the Nurburgring – a title currently owned by the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series with a lap of 6: 43.616.

Chaos will come in two versions. Both use a turbocharged four-liter V10 engine with titanium camshafts, Inconel valves, pistons and stems 3D printed on a unibody chassis.

The “lower” specification version pushes 2,000 hp while still hitting 11,000 revolutions per minute (RPM). Its engine will use titanium rods and pistons and standard gasoline.

The more efficient version will reach 12,000 rpm and deliver 3,000 hp using e85 fuel. This version will come with ceramic pistons, carbon fiber rods and injectors.

There will be no buttons to push in the cockpit as the driver will be using virtual reality glasses to activate the car’s functions which include a 5G augmented platform. The car will weigh only 1,280 kg.

Chaos, he says, is not just about speed and acceleration, but also the application of advanced technology in its production and in the way it drives.

Mr. Panopoulos was born in 1978 in Athens. In the mid-90s, he turned to car production through computer programming. He learned to develop software and hardware

“I was into computers from low level programming languages. My father, who was in the Greek Air Force, had a Golf GTI which did not have an on-board computer. So I made mine for the car, ”he said.

Greece is not a country with a heritage in the automotive industry. In 1997, the young man went to Europe to get the equipment he needed to develop his cars. In 1999 he approached a large motorsport company which gave him an electronic control unit through which he developed his own software. It is a relationship that he has kept to this day.
