Madonna presents the mysterious "Madame X" with her teaser on social media

Madonna hosts the weekend with an introduction to what appears to be a new project, or character, named Madame X.

The pop icon unveiled the mysterious Madame X on Instagram and Twitter on Saturday (April 13), offering a glimpse of what will happen.

In her posts, Madonna wrote:

"Madam X is a secret agent
Travel around the world
Change identities
Fight for freedom
Make light in dark places
She is a cha cha instr
A teacher
A head of state
A maid
A horserider
A prisoner
A student
A teacher
A nun
A cabaret singer
A saint
A prostitute "

Leaving the fans wanting more, she did not confirm if Madam X was the title of an upcoming song or album, or whether it was an alter ego.

In March, she cast another look at what she had in her sleeve, tweeting an enigmatic photo of one hand cutting an apple with the caption "A taste of things to come ".
